SHR is the independent Regulator of just under 200 social landlords - around 150 Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and 32 local authorities. SHR is led by a Board of non-executive members, directly accountable to the Scottish Parliament and independent of Scottish Ministers.One of the SHR's functions is a requirement to gather, monitor, assess and report regularly on the financial well-being of RSLs.
