## Summary

The procurement process, titled "Provision of Heritage Interpretive Services," is being conducted by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, a regional authority based in Newry, Northern Ireland. The project falls under the environmental protection industry category and is part of the CANN project, which aims to enhance conservation efforts across a network of important environmental sites. The total value of the contract is £63,720, and it covers services including research, planning, copywriting, design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of interpretive panels across sites in Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the Isle of Islay in Scotland. The project is expected to run until December 2022.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in heritage interpretation, environmental education, and graphic design. Companies that specialise in copywriting, artistic design, and installation services would be particularly well-suited to compete for similar contracts. Given the open procurement method employed, businesses of any scale, including SMEs, are encouraged to participate. Engaging in such projects not only facilitates growth but also allows companies to contribute to vital environmental initiatives and community engagement efforts.
