To fulfil this responsibility and to promote social inclusion and equality, WLHSCP will commission services for the provision of a professional independent advocacy service which focuses on support to enable people with mental health problems and, or addiction issues to have their wishes heard, make their own choices and take control of their own lives. In addition, under the terms of this contract additional spot purchase funding will be available for the duration of the contract for the provision of an independent advocacy service to unpaid adult carers..
