This includes responsibility for commissioning and delivery of postgraduate medical education, from foundation to speciality training and supporting education and continuing professional development for nurses, midwives, health visitors, pharmacists, allied health professionals, psychologists, the dental team and administrative, clerical and support staff. NES collaborates with the Scottish Social Services Council and other partner agencies to support the education and learning needs of the workforce in social care and wider public services. Scottish Government has commissioned NES to facilitate an initial market sounding exercise to understand possible solutions, and to act as the technical Solution Owner for the live system. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The objectives of this exercise are to: prepare the market for the potential forthcoming procurement of a solution (or solutions) to provide a national QCovid(r) public tool for NHS Scotland; - identify indicative costs and benefits; - gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions for a QCovid(r) public tool -understand any risks and issues not previously considered; and - identify any supplier information requirements (and assumptions made) that will need to be confirmed in advance of any formal procurement exercise..
