## Summary

CalMac Ferries Limited is initiating a procurement process for the "Asset Management Technology Project," aimed at implementing a Type Approved Asset Management software solution to enhance the management of assets such as vessels and ports. The procurement is in the planning stage, with key activities expected between March and June 2022 for market engagement and requirements gathering. The projected timeline indicates that the contract is expected to be awarded in January 2023 and implementation will continue through the latter half of 2023. This project is classified under the services category and has an estimated value of £750,000, focusing on the regions of UKM and UKM83.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses that specialise in Asset Management software solutions, particularly those experienced in maintenance management and technical procurement for maritime environments. Companies capable of providing modern, integrated systems with functionalities such as work order management, inventory control, and supplier management would be particularly well-suited to compete. The extensive nature of the requirements makes this a valuable opportunity for technology firms focused on innovation in asset management and operational efficiency.
