## Summary

The procurement process is led by Forestry and Land Scotland, focusing on the tender titled "Award of 701_1017 Strathyre Works and NCR7 Cycle Path," which falls under the works category within the agricultural, farming, fishing, forestry, and related products sector. This tender is aimed at improving timber haul routes and upgrading approximately 4500 meters of the NCR 7 cycle route, ensuring safe passage for both timber haulage and recreational cyclists. The tender period commenced on 21st February 2022 and concluded on 21st May 2022, with the contract awarded to AMD Contract Services for a total value of £257,761.50. The award date is noted as 18th February 2022.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in construction, engineering, and related services, particularly those with expertise in infrastructure development and environmental projects. Companies that specialise in path upgrades, timber extraction logistics, and safe access routes would be particularly well-suited to compete for future contracts in this area. As the public sector increasingly focuses on environmental sustainability and outdoor accessibility, businesses engaged in innovative solutions for these challenges could see significant growth and collaboration opportunities with Scotland’s public procurement landscape.
