The main objective of this contract is to award a specialist contractor to complete the full and comprehensive restoration and refurbishment works part of which involves the dismantling of the fountain, removing it to a foundry for refurbishment and repair, resembling of the structure in the existing location and connecting to a permanent water supply. This water supply will be monitored and sampled on periodic occasions to ensure water legislation is upheld. The contract is estimated to be for a period of 5 months via a SBCC Minor Works Building Contract with Contractors Design 2016 and be procured via an Open Tender Procedure.
