The works will be a mixture of planned and reactive works. Each property must have the replacement heating system fully operational within a 72 hour period. The successful contractor must be capable of ensuring the delivery of the 72 hour window turn around. At present, the council has the following allocated budget: Year 1. 601,000 GBP Year 2. 550,000 GBP Year 3. 1,228,000 GBP Year 4. 965,000 GBP The council reserves the right to move spend about between years and as highlighted above the council does offer no guarantee's to uptake of any resulting contract. Year 3 & 4 are subject to the council choosing to extend the contract, which is at its sole discretion.
