The roles of the architects will be to deliver their specific aims within objectives 1a-e listed in the all services scope of service, provided again below: Create a design guide for the estate masterplan - This to allow anyone to build at Zero Four but to ensure a coherent attractive estate - This is to include landscaping - This is to include all asset classes, from large warehouses with yards to offices and hotels - This to be deliverable at minimal costs - checked against investment objectives - To include production of high-quality CGIs to be used for marketing the estate - Created by the architects but with information, materials and direction by the landscape architects - This function may be outsourced by the architect but they will remain the lead on delivery and the full cost of delivering the CGIs must be provided here Engaging with the Planning Consultant the role will be to create a new masterplan that is appealing, coherent and bedded into the costal setting of ZeroFour. Crown Estate Scotland want to develop a design brief that will encompass: - Coherence throughout the masterplan - Green energy and green buildings - Active travel and leisure use appropriate to a modern business hub - Maritime landscaping - Attractive urban design Key deliverables will include: - A masterplan design guide/framework meeting Crown Estate Scotland's aims and accepted by the local planning authority - Contribute, including design and materials, to support PPiP planning applications for new use classes - A 2D masterplan layout - Masterplanned road layout - Massing study - A defined standard building design for each of multiple asset types - A suite of CGIs suitable for the promotion of ZeroFour An in-situ 3D video fly-through and 3D masterplan layout set against the surroundings
