The call-off contract is under the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17). The Call Off Contract under the DPS is awarded via Mini-Competition: Lot 2 - Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Organic Waste The Mini Competition contained two geographical sub-lots as detailed below to ensure that the travelling distances and times to/from the reprocessors' facilities are maintained to a minimum. Lot 2b - Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bagged Garden Waste 2.1b - Call Off Contract for Bagged Garden Waste (North Area) 2.2b - Call Off Contract for Bagged Garden Waste (South Area) The Council reserved the right to appoint one or more contractors under each Mini Competition based on each geographical sub-lot. The contract will run for a period of three years from 01 April 2022 - 31 March 2025 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months.
