## Summary

The recent procurement process, led by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, sought a service provider for "Rapid Response and Resettlement". This initiative is critical within the health industry, specifically focusing on transporting older patients home from healthcare facilities in Glasgow, UK. The tender was completed with a total contract value of £732,000. Although the contract has been awarded, the initial tender period ended on 22 April 2022, with the last significant activity on 30 May 2022 when the contract was signed. The procurement was executed via an open method, allowing a broad range of potential suppliers to participate.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare transportation and support services, particularly those with experience in assisting vulnerable populations. Suppliers capable of running a reliable, efficient transport service, and those with a strong understanding of the health sector's requirements will be well-placed to compete. Considering the focus on transport logistics and patient care, companies offering advanced logistical solutions or supplementary care services would be highly relevant candidates for future engagements in similar procurements.
