## Summary

The Common Services Agency, more commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), has completed a procurement process for the contract titled "The provision of support for Docman 7.X and Docman Transfer as used in GP Practices in Scotland." This procurement falls under the health services industry and was conducted in Scotland. The award procedure was limited, without prior publication of a call for competition, and the contract was signed on 21 April 2022, amounting to £2,937,000. This contract is for a maximum period of four years and addresses the vital support for clinical records management used by GP practices across various locations in Scotland.

This procurement presents a significant opportunity for businesses, particularly those specialising in healthcare IT services and software support, to align with NHS Scotland's needs. Companies with experience in providing software solutions and support, particularly those familiar with electronic clinical records management systems, will find themselves well-suited to compete in similar future tenders. With the NHS's focus on continuity of service amid substantial prior investment, businesses that can demonstrate the capacity to deliver high-quality services will likely benefit from such contracts, which not only ensure ongoing operations but also contribute to the overall efficiency of NHS services.
