East Ayrshire Council has successfully concluded a tender process for the Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust, focusing on the provision of support services for individuals facing mental health challenges and recovery from substance misuse. This procurement was categorised under 'services' and was part of a broader push for general public service provision. The contract was signed on 5th April 2022 and has a value of £516,009. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialised in mental health services, outreach support, and counselling. Companies that provide person-centred care and have experience in implementing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy could find this contract particularly relevant.
