Lot 1

Orkney Islands Council ("the Authority") has a requirement for a suitably experienced and qualified publisher to design and print a series of guidebooks for the Authority's Museums ("the Museum"). The Authority's estate of Museums comprises sites managed by the Authority's Culture Service - the newly refurbished Scapa Flow Museum, St Magnus Cathedral, the Orkney Museum, and Corrigall Farm Museum/Kirbuster Museum. The guidebook for the Scapa Flow Museum is to be designed as the first of a series of guides to other sites managed by the Authority's Culture Service subject to funding as this becomes available.. This contract has an initial duration of 36 months with an option to extend for 2 x 12 month periods. Phase 1 of the project has an estimated value of 30000 GBP and Phase 2 which is subject to confirmation of funding has an estimated value of 70000 GBP excluding VAT. Overall contract value of 100000 GBP is excluding VAT.
