## Summary

The Decarbonising Heat Accelerator Programme, initiated by Scottish Enterprise, is aimed at appointing a single supplier to deliver a training course designed to enhance business skills and knowledge within the Decarbonising Heat Sector. The procurement is currently in the Award stage, with the contract anticipated to commence on the 22nd of July 2022 and last for 18 months. Located in Glasgow, this project falls under the services industry category and was conducted via an open procedure, with a total contract value of £47,000. The initial tender period closed on 29th June 2022.

This contract presents a unique opportunity for businesses, particularly those specialising in training and development within the energy sector, to engage with Scottish Enterprise and enhance their market presence. Companies that offer services related to business growth, sustainability, and networking would be well-positioned to compete for this project. Given the focus on sector knowledge and job growth, firms with expertise in decarbonisation, energy efficiency, or related training programmes could benefit significantly from participating in this initiative.
