Lot 1

The overall aim of the service is to support families, children and young people affected by drug/ alcohol use, and to empower them to be active, respected participants in their own families, communities and services. Work is taking place in East Ayrshire to develop a strategic and multi-agency approach to tackling harms caused by drug/ alcohol use, which aims to manage the risks faced by individuals and communities. This includes awareness raising, knowledge building, service delivery and service development arrangements. The partnership's approach is to work with parents and children under 5 who are experiencing difficulties which are exacerbated by drug/ alcohol use, but who do not yet meet the threshold for statutory service involvement.
