## Summary

The University of Strathclyde is initiating a public procurement process for the provision of a catering concession at the new National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) headquarters in Renfrewshire, due to be operational by autumn 2022. This tender, titled "Provision of Catering Concession for National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS)," is currently in the planning stage and is related to the services industry. Interested parties must express their interest by 22nd July 2022, and further communication regarding the tender is expected on 5th August 2022.

This opportunity is ideal for businesses specialising in catering services, particularly those that can offer a range of food and beverage options, sustainability practices, and a focus on food hygiene standards. With the NMIS expected to attract significant foot traffic from staff, visitors, and international partnerships, suppliers should be well-equipped to meet the demands of serving up to 500 potential customers. This includes the provision of café services during operational hours, and potential catering for larger events in the future, thus presenting a robust growth avenue for qualified operators in the food service industry.
