Lot 1

Works Scope Permanent works for the installation of a landfill capping system on Phase 3B and a lining system on Phase 3B Engineered Bund, as follows; The Contractor shall prepare the surfaces ready to accept the lining system as required by the Project Manager / Site Supervisor. Associated works on Phase 3B Capping Works: o Expose and prepare edge of existing capping and basal lining systems at tie-in locations. To include for excavation of existing restoration soils o Deployment of 1mm HDPE geomembrane, fusion welded, above the Regulating Layer o Extrusion welding of 1mm textured HDPE Geomembrane to existing lining systems o Pipe boot surround details on existing leachate and gas infrastructure o Deployment of drainage composite above the 1mm textured HDPE geomembrane o Deploy of temporary sandbag ballast to secure the works prior to earthwork contractor mobilisation Associated Works on Phase 3B Engineered Bund: o Expose and prepare edge of existing basal liner at tie-in location. To include for excavation of existing waste material o Deployment of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) above prepared engineered bund o Deployment of 2.0m HDPE geomembrane liner above geosynthetic clay liner o Deployment of protection geotextile above 2.0mm HDPE geomembrane o Deploy sandbag ballast to secure the works prior to earthwork contractor mobilisation
