### Procurement Information

The Supported Transitions Service is required as part of North Ayrshire CAMHS recovery and renewal response and thereby meets the criteria of urgency due to unforeseeable events (pandemic). The service is critical in relation to the early intervention and prevention work CAMHS need to undertake with children and families with a backdrop of increasing urgent demand and context of backlog waits. The implementation of a demand and capacity model within CAMHS has also provided evidence of the need for a prevention and early intervention project with school pupils in the Largs locality. Largs has one of the biggest cluster of schools and the profile of Largs is changing with more deprivation being identified. The Recovery and Renewal funding was meant to be allocated at pace and although we can carry forward completely misses our urgent timescales for delivery and the outcomes we are therefore seeking for the current cohort of children due to transition this year and who will be mostly affected by Covid. The funding is time limited and required to also address future demand.
