A service is to be provided every day and out of hours cover is to be in place for reactive repairs to properties and common areas at various locations within the Association's geographical area. ### Procurement Information This stop gap contract was awarded due to an extreme urgency brought about by the existing reactive repairs contractor going into liquidation. This was unforeseen and the Association had to act quickly in order to be able to continue to providing its customers with a core service. We were unable to procure a new contract quickly through traditional methods as the timescales were too long and we could not be left without providing a service. We are currently procuring a long term reactive repairs contract via a framework and will carry out a mini competition. This process will be quicker than the 2 stage procurement via PCS.
