## Summary

The University of the Highlands and Islands, based in Inverness, UK, has initiated a tender for the provision of a Research Collaboration Project to investigate highly antimicrobial inorganic coatings for infection control in the Education industry category. The planned procurement notice aims to enter into a Research Collaboration Agreement with a contractor for the evaluation of technologies in this field. The tender is currently at the planning stage, with the future notice date set for 29th September 2022.

This tender opportunity by the University of the Highlands and Islands can benefit businesses with expertise in antimicrobial coatings, especially those involved in research and development, healthcare product manufacturing, and technology innovation. Companies with capabilities in producing antimicrobial coatings through physical vapour deposition (PVD) processes and a keen interest in collaboration for healthcare applications would be well-suited to compete for this opportunity. The Research Collaboration Agreement offers a platform for businesses to contribute their expertise in developing specifications and innovative solutions in antimicrobial technology within the healthcare sector.

## Notice
