Replacement of an equine cardiovascular scanner with a three dimensional echocardiography (3DE) system with matrix probes.

### Procurement Information

The new unit needs to be equipped with high specification hardware and software to ensure that we maintain our position as a leading centre for equine imaging excellence, including with reference to equine cardiology. Key requirement in package is a three dimensional echocardiography probe; curvilinear (abdominal use) and high frequency linear (musculoskeletal use) probes are also required. The new unit needs to be compatible with current software used for data analysis (GE EchoPAC) for cardiology. This is what is currently used with the existing obsolescent GE system, and is not compatible with other systems.
