## Summary

The City of Edinburgh Council has awarded a contract for the provision of a "Holiday Hub" service for children with disabilities. The City Council sought a school holiday play scheme for disabled children and young people, with the service offering various structured activities. The contract covers three lots catering to different levels of support needs, such as low, medium, and high support requirements. The procurement method used was a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. The Council evaluated supplier proposals based on cost and quality criteria, aiming to select the most economically advantageous tender.

This tender opportunity for the "Holiday Hub" service in Edinburgh presents growth prospects for businesses catering to support services for disabled children. Companies specialising in providing tailored support services for children with disabilities, such as those offering holiday play schemes and structured activities, would be well-suited to compete. The contract includes opportunities for engagement in community benefits and adherence to Fair Work First policies, encouraging potential suppliers to incorporate social responsibility and fair work practices in their proposals.
