The process will be dependent on the complexity of the application, any additional checks required for approved persons and the detail required during the rounds of questioning. Following the submission of the CPIE's application to the FCA, the advisor will provide advice and assistance regarding the process and key stages the FCA undertake during the application process. This can include, advising CPIE on replying to correspondence from the FCA and drafting the responses, preparing CPIE for an interview or attending alongside a meeting with the FCA and assisting CPIE with key deliverables the FCA require in order for CPIE to gain authorisation.
