The Cross Service Data Framework will unlock the value of data in the digital planning system.The Planning Scotland Gateway will become the home for the new digital services, data and tools used in a future planning service. It will surface these to users including citizens, investors, developers, communities, architects and planning agents or other public sector bodies.The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for:* shaping the SG Digital Planning data strategy, and will describe why and how the data that drives Digital Planning will be managed and used. This is a green field opportunity to design and develop a new data solution for Digital Planning* together with the overall Data Lead in Digital Planning oversee the supplier who will prepare the SG Planning Data Strategy* oversee the design of multiple data models and have a broad understanding of how each model fulfils the needs of the business* provide advice to delivery project teams and oversee the management of the full data product life cycle* have responsibility for making sure that Digital Planning systems are designed in accordance with the data architecture* Setting out the overarching data architectural principles for the portfolio* Influencing the planning sector in Scotland to adopt, interoperability frameworks, and data standards;* Managing internal teams, suppliers and delivery partners to ensure their technical and quality obligations are met;.* Communicating complex data concepts to non-technical audiences;* Ensuring solutions comply with prevailing legislation, guidance, and organisational values.
