East Renfrewshire Council's appointed contractors carry out Replacement Gas Installations / Services on a scheduled programme within our commercial and domestic properties. Gas Servicing/Installation Certificates: ERC will provide details of completed Gas Servicing/Installation Certificates and Periodic Electrical test certificates on a monthly basis to facilitate random third party selection of properties/certificates to be audited. An even spread of work throughout the ERC area shall ensure a representative sample is achieved. In order to confirm competency of the engineer, the sample shall be based on engineers as opposed to addresses. It is anticipated 40 approx. inspections will be undertaken per month. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
