Supply of intravenous medical products used to diagnose major diseases including cancer and heart disease.. This is a continuation of the current agreement with plans in place to complete new tender exercise within financial year 2023/2024 in line with NHS&GGC current workplan.

### Procurement Information

There is limited competition in the radiopharmaceutical market, Greater Glasgow and Clyde require Radiopharmaceutical preparation kits such as NANOTOP, IELMAG3 and TEKTROTYD to use when carrying out diagnostics treatment. Therefore for reasons of compatibility and continuity in delivering quality patient care, no other supplier can provide Radiopharmaceuticals preparation kits other than the incumbent supplier. Due to current timescales, to initiate a procurement exercise would lead to disruption and a negative impact on patient care. To note, as part of Greater Glasgow and Clyde work plan 2023/2024, radiopharmaceuticals and their associated materials and consumables is to be reviewed and tendered. As a result of the above, we will now enter into a standstill period of 10 days, concluding on the 11th April and proceed to award the agreement on the 12th April 2023.
