This is a continuation of the current agreement with plans in place to complete new tender exercise within financial year 2023/2024 in line with NHSG&GC current workplan. ### Procurement Information There is limited competition in the radiopharmaceutical market, Greater Glasgow and Clyde require radiopharmaceutical medical equipment and consumables to carry out specific diagnostic treatments. Therefore for reasons of compatibility and continuity in delivering quality patient care, no other supplier can provide the equipment and consumables other than the incumbent supplier. Due to current timescales, to initiate a procurement exercise would lead to disruption and a negative impact on patient care. To note, as part of Greater Glasgow and Clyde work plan 2023/2024, radiopharmaceuticals and their associated materials and consumables is to be reviewed and tendered.
