The successful contractor will be required to carry out internal alterations and refurbishment of existing Cultural & Leisure Council offices and storage to provide new nursery facilities. The works include creating new nursery classrooms, toilets, staff areas, teachers' offices and kitchen. Works also include reconfiguration of asphalt car parking into a secure nursery play space to include a canopy and a new flat roof system. The external works also include the extension of the existing car parking as well as the requirement for a retaining wall.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. The works budget for this project is 1,240,000GBP however the Council reserves the right to spend up to 1,480,000GBP.
