### Lot Information

Lot 1

The stairwell cleaning service, or close cleaning as it is known locally, involves cyclic cleaning of the communal areas of over 700 public sector flatted or maisonette properties, up to 5 floors in height. These properties are located across North Lanarkshire in all of the main towns. While a percentage of the blocks are multi-tenure the majority of residents are council tenants. The cyclical cleaning programme will include fortnightly general cleans, as well as more in depth monthly and quarterly cleans. In many areas a more extensive deep clean treatments will be required and on occasions ad-hoc specialist cleans will be required to include the removal of bodily fluids from communal close areas.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: The Council intends to include an additional 1 x 12 month extension period which can be utilised should circumstances arise that such an extension is required.
