The surfacing of the car parks levels two, four, ramps; split level between them and the exit ramp of Batchen Lane car park was originally Mastic Asphalt (SMA). In 2021 the asphalt surface was removed and replaced with a surface waterproofing system (Decseal). Due to poor surface preparation and installation a full replacement of levels two, four, ramps; split level between them and the exit ramp surfacing is required..
