## Summary

The Scottish Government has awarded a contract for the role of Business Readiness Manager as part of its Corporate Shared Services Programme (SSP). The initiative aims to upgrade and enhance the efficiency of corporate shared services for the central Scottish Government and other public bodies through the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solutions, with a total investment of around £20 million. The contract, valued at £163,709, was awarded to Harvey Nash Limited, based in Edinburgh. The programme, which falls under the services category with a focus on IT services including consulting, software development, internet, and support, is managed by the newly formed Corporate Transformation Directorate. The procurement process, initiated by tender and now in the award stage, covers a timeframe from 10th November 2023 to 7th October 2024, primarily taking place in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in enterprise resource planning, corporate transformation, and IT consultancy. Companies that excel in project management, user communications, engagement, change impact analysis, risk management, and post-go-live support are well-placed to benefit from the SSP initiative. The role of the Business Readiness Manager is crucial for ensuring smooth transitions within customer organisations and maintaining continuous service delivery. Businesses that can provide robust support and innovative solutions to meet the strategic needs of the Scottish Government's transformation goals would find this tender an excellent opportunity to showcase their expertise and expand their client base within the public sector.
