## Summary

The Dumfries and Galloway Council, a local authority in Dumfries, UK, is planning a tender for the provision of employability support services through the Dumfries & Galloway Local Employability & Skills Partnership. This opportunity is in the services category and aims to engage various organisations and training providers to assist unemployed individuals, low-skilled workers, and those with low income to access learning, training, and employment opportunities. The tender is at the planning stage, with a future notice date set for October 2, 2023.

This tender by the Dumfries and Galloway Council presents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in employability services, training provision, and support for disadvantaged groups. Organisations offering services such as money management, sector-specific short courses, employability provision, and employer engagement are well-suited to compete. Businesses that focus on community wealth building, fair work practices, and supporting individuals with barriers to work, such as disabilities and mental health conditions, could particularly benefit from participating in this tender.
