## Summary

The Dumfries and Galloway Council has completed the procurement process for the "DG LEP Employability Programmes" within the services category. The initiative aims to provide employability services to individuals of all ages in Dumfries and Galloway. The tender was awarded to CEIS Ayrshire for two lots offering training programmes for 16-24-year-olds and over 25-year-olds. The procurement method used was an open procedure, and the award was recently signed on 14th November 2023.

This tender by the Dumfries and Galloway Council presents business growth opportunities for support organisations and training providers interested in delivering employability services. Businesses that excel in providing training services to unemployed individuals, low-skilled workers, and those with low-income roles would be well-suited to compete.
