## Summary

The Common Services Agency (NHS National Services) Scotland conducted a procurement procedure for the public contract titled "NP48318 Emergency Planning Storage & Distribution" in the services industry category. The tender involved the Storage, Distribution, and Recycling of Emergency Planning Stockpiles for NHS Scotland. The procurement method used was a limited procedure without prior publication, due to modifications required during the Covid-19 pandemic. The buying organisation, located in Edinburgh, UK, entered the award stage on November 1, 2023, with a tender initiation type of "tender". The contract involved multiple lots covering various products such as antibiotics, pandemic influenza antivirals, and critical care/ITU stockpile items.

The tender awarded contracts to The TPS Healthcare Group Ltd for the Storage and Distribution of various medical supplies. This opportunity can benefit businesses that specialise in healthcare logistics, storage, and distribution services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with experience in medical supply chain management would be well-suited to compete. The procurement process, which recently concluded, offers growth prospects for businesses operating in the healthcare sector, particularly those capable of handling the storage, distribution, and recycling of medical stockpiles. The active contracts present revenue opportunities, with values ranging from thousands to hundreds of thousands of pounds, signed on November 1, 2023.
