This role is to inform, empower and represent the interests of individual service users to improve access to health and social care services and to improve health and social care outcomes. The provider must be independent of other third and statutory service providers. Independent advocates must be able to work with people living in West Dunbartonshire and must be experienced in acting independently and without conflict of interest. Further to the terms and conditions stated within the Contract, the Provider is required to comply with the requirements detailed in the Service Specification.
