### Lot Information

Lot 1

The requirement sits within The Global Health Academy, a vibrant, evidence led academic community and cross-disciplinary structure. That showcases, supports and helps enable global health research, learning and networks - advancing the University's global ambitions and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A very urgent requirement for purchase of a mass spectrometer to replace an end of life Mass Spectrometry instrument (now 20 years old) that came with Prof. Liz Baggs when she moved here from Aberdeen. Due to its age critical components of instrument central to the research conducted by ~20 staff/postdocs/PhD students is no longer supported by the manufacturer. As is, the instrument is functioning as best as possible but does not meet demand from within the research group. A replacement of the individual unit is not possible as the new ones are not compatible with our existing system so the whole system needs replaced.

### Procurement Information
