There is also the secondary purpose of the supply and delivery of chemicals required in council leisure facilities and schools. ### Lot Information Supply, delivery and Storage of C02 in Council Facilities The purpose of this contract is to bring under one contract the delivery, supply, storage, and maintenance of C02 required in various council swimming pools. There is also the secondary purpose of the supply and delivery of chemicals required in council leisure facilities and schools. The first lot required to be procured is in relation to Carbon Dioxide (c02) in swimming pools. As part of the contract the following is required to ensure compliance and the functioning of pH control in council swimming pools. 1. The supply of C02 to three council swimming pools 2. The delivery of C02 on the agreed delivery schedule to ensure these sites do not run out so that services are not interrupted. 3. The supplier will provide the CO2 system including bulk and back up, storage vessels, connective equipment and safety equipment including CO2 monitors to ensure the facility can operate in accordance with British Compressed Gas Association (BCGA) code of Practice CP26 and Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. 4. A maintenance schedule to ensure all equipment is kept in good order to avoid closures. As part of this a call out procedure will need to be provided to enable quick response. Renewal: 2 optional 1 year extensions at councils discretion. Supply and delivery of chemicals for facilities The second lot to be procured is the provision of chemicals that are required to be used in Leisure facilities and schools. These will be provided as part of the tender pack for suppliers to price. These chemicals are essential to the day to day running of these facilities so the delivery timeframes need to be stated so that services can plan.
