## Summary

The public procurement process, led by Scottish Natural Heritage, focuses on establishing a "Helicopter and Pilot Services Framework." This tender falls under the environmental protection industry category and services sector, with the location extending across Scotland and potentially Northern Ireland. Key dates include the latest update on 19th August 2024, with the procurement stage categorized as "Award." The contracting process, initiated as a tender, employs an open procedure for procurement. Relevant organizations such as National Trust for Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Forestry, Forestry and Land Scotland, the Association of Deer Management Groups, and the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service are involved, ensuring the framework's extensive utilization.

This framework presents significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for SMEs specialising in aerial services like wildlife surveillance, management operations, fire fighting, aerial fertiliser application, and construction site works. Suppliers already engaged include PDG Helicopters, TSL Contractors Limited, and Apollo Air Services. Businesses equipped with specialised skills and experience in these operational areas, especially those offering competitive pricing and high-quality personnel, will be well-suited to compete and benefit from the framework agreements. The framework's value of £2,000,000 also underscores its potential for substantial engagement and long-term projects, allowing businesses to build lasting partnerships with public sector buyers.

## Notice
