Lot 1

The initial phase of the Energy Smart programme has been delivered, establishing an energy advice helpline, and offering crisis payments to those most vulnerable to the impacts of increased utility prices. The next phase of the Energy Smart programme is to deliver physical energy efficiency measures, and whilst an initial phase of households have been supported through the Council's modified loft insulation contract, the Council seek to offer a wide range of measure to more households. Therefore 1.53m has been allocated to appoint a contractor to deliver similar measures offered through the ABS programme, to households who are not deemed 'able to pay' and are low-income households across North Ayrshire.
