## Summary

The Scottish Government has awarded a contract for an Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Team Strategic Governance Office (ETSGO) within the Financial Management Directorate. The procurement process was undertaken directly without competition, with the contract being awarded to Venesky-Brown Recruitment. The role involves critical administrative duties such as managing calendar invites and the ETSGO mailbox, and providing logistical support for meetings, among others. The contract's total value is GBP 20,289, and it covers services within Edinburgh, operating under the Scottish Government's hybrid working policy, which requires office attendance several times a week.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses that specialise in providing personnel and administrative support services, particularly those with experience in government or public service environments. Companies with proven planning and organisational skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced working environment would be well-suited to bid for such contracts. This contract not only offers financial reward but also the chance to form a long-lasting relationship with a significant governmental authority, potentially opening the door to future contracts within the public sector.
