## Summary

Procurement for Housing (PfH), a national procurement consortium dedicated to the social housing sector, recently completed the award stage for the PFH Fire Safety Works Framework. This major procurement process, categorised under general public services, was facilitated via an open procedure and aimed to establish a framework agreement covering a range of fire safety works. The framework is divided into seven lots: Active Works, Passive Works, Fire Doors (Contractor Supply and Install, Manufacturer Supply and Install, and Manufacturer Supply Only), Cladding, and Whole Building Works, with contracts awarded on 10th December 2024. Headquartered in Warrington, PfH supports over 90% of the UK's social housing stock, and the framework agreements will span three years with an optional extension of one year.

The awarded contracts present significant opportunities for businesses specialised in fire safety measures, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection systems. This is an excellent chance for both large and SME suppliers to enhance their portfolio and secure substantial projects in the public housing sector. Businesses involved in supplying and installing fire-resistant materials, fire doors, and advanced fire protection systems stand to benefit greatly from this framework. The diverse range of lots within the framework ensures varied opportunities, incentivising companies to present competitive bids tailored to different regions and value bands, ultimately fostering growth and enhancing their market presence.
