## Summary

The Scottish Government has issued a tender titled "Internet of Things (IoT)" under the category of general public services. This is an extension of their collaborative Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for IoT, extending the system until 19 September 2025. Located in Glasgow, the procurement process is currently in the 'Tender' stage, with submissions closing on 18 September 2025. The procurement method is selective, utilising a restricted procedure, and submissions are to be made electronically. The contracting authority seeks to refresh the supplier list, requiring current suppliers to update and resubmit their European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) within four weeks of this Contract Notice to remain eligible. Failure to do so will result in their removal from the DPS.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IoT services and related technologies, as the DPS remains open for new suppliers to join. Companies capable of delivering high-quality IoT solutions, including software, hardware, and network services, particularly those experienced in securing public sector contracts, will find this an excellent avenue for business growth. Maintaining a place on the DPS can provide access to various call-off contracts and additional business opportunities within the promised 12-month extension period. Additionally, businesses committed to community benefits can leverage this tender to highlight their social value propositions, as community benefits will be determined at each call-off contract.
