## Summary

West Dunbartonshire Council has concluded a procurement process, awarding a contract for a supported living service titled "St Andrews Way - supported living service for adults with severe, enduring and complex mental health challenges." The Health and Social Care Partnership's Community Mental Health Team is focused on finding a provider experienced in delivering care using a rehabilitation model for up to 24 months. This service is situated in Clydebank, within the UKM81 region, and involves developing long-term tenancy solutions for residents. The contract, valued at GBP 1,540,000 and awarded to The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, signifies the completion of the award phase as of 29 May 2026, following the open procurement procedure.

This procurement presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in mental health support services. Companies providing rehabilitation-centred care solutions, particularly those with experience in supporting adults with severe mental health challenges in a community living setting, would find this contract highly suitable. With quality being the primary awarding criterion, businesses with a strong focus on service excellence and expertise in such complex care requirements stand a competitive chance in competing for similar future tenders within the public sector framework.
