The total contract value is approximately £5,750,000 with a framework agreement in place supporting further requirements and potential extensions up to 5 years.

This tender creates significant opportunities for businesses within the medical supplies sector, particularly those specialising in hypodermic needle and syringe production. Large-scale suppliers, as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs), are well-suited to compete, offering a variety of products and potentially innovative solutions to meet NHS Scotland’s needs. Engaging in this framework can result in substantial business growth along with long-term relationships with a major healthcare buyer, fostering stability and the opportunity to contribute to NHS Scotland’s operational efficiency and patient safety.
