## Summary

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service is planning a procurement process for the provision of legal textbooks, with significant acquisitions made from various publishers and suppliers to support the judiciary and staff across multiple locations. This procurement, under the industry category of 'Public order and safety,' focuses on rationalising existing agreements within the Supreme Courts and Sheriff Courts Library Services to streamline the ordering process. The procurement is currently in the planning stage with an anticipated future notice date of 28th October 2024. Businesses interested in this opportunity should note the procurement's estimated value of £465,000 and the coverage under the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in the provision of legal materials and library services to expand their portfolios by entering or strengthening their presence in the public sector. Suppliers with experience in delivering legal textbooks and those able to offer efficient, streamlined ordering solutions would be well-suited to compete. Participation in this tender could lead to long-term contractual relationships with the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, enhancing business growth and credibility in the legal and judicial marketplace.
