## Summary

The Common Services Agency, more commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), has awarded a contract to Civica UK Limited for the extension of the Fleet Management System "Tranman". This procurement falls under the health industry category and is specific to Scotland, with the main procurement method being a limited procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract was signed on 1st April 2024 and will last for a 12-month period, concluding by 30th September 2025. Managed by NSS, headquartered in Edinburgh, the procurement stage for this tender is complete, following the award stage.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in fleet management systems and related services. The requirement for an existing contractor due to economic or technical reasons allows providers with existing solutions to offer seamless integration and continuity. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) like Civica UK Limited, which handle substantial vehicle fleets, are well-suited to compete. The extension facilitates business growth by ensuring continual compliance and maintenance, thus preventing interruptions in fleet operations, and highlighting the importance of effective fleet data management for various NHS Boards in Scotland.
