Secure sharing and transfer of files within various judicial and tribunal functions of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS). This service is vital for ensuring the confidentiality and controlled dissemination of sensitive documents across several key operational areas.

### Procurement Information

Regulation 33 4(b) States: "A contracting authority may award a public supply contract following negotiated procedure without prior publication in any of the following cases - for additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended either as a partial replacement of supplies or installations or as the extension of existing supplies or installations where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance." Introducing an interim solution while waiting for the full implementation of Microsoft SharePoint would result in technical difficulties and disruptions as highlighted in detail above. Switching to a different supplier or solution for file sharing would introduce additional costs and it would not be aligned with the organisation's strategic move towards the Microsoft SharePoint solution which is already in progress. Changing suppliers or a short-term solution would be disproportionate given that SCTS is already implementing a permanent solution (SharePoint).
