## Summary

The Scottish Police Authority is currently in the planning stage of the procurement process for their "Forensic Services Core Operating System 2024." This initiative falls under the public order and safety industry category and is located in Glasgow, region UKM82. The procurement process was initiated with the release of a Prior Information Notice (PIN) issued on 10th October 2024, and Request for Information (RFI) responses are expected to be submitted by 5pm on Friday, 1st November 2024. This is a preliminary step aiming to gather market insights before proceeding to a tender exercise scheduled for some time in 2025.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for companies specialising in forensic technology systems and related software solutions. The project seeks contributions from businesses experienced in the delivery and management of core operating systems. Suppliers with expertise in CPV codes 48000000, 72222300, 72267100, and 72311100 are particularly well-suited to participate. Engaging with this procurement process can provide visibility, strategic partnerships, and potential long-term contracts with the Scottish Police Authority, fostering enhanced business expansion and sector influence.
