## Summary

The public procurement process initiated by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde involves a Construction Professional Services Framework, crucial for supporting capital projects across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. This process, adopting a selective procurement method and detailed through a restricted procedure, focuses on the healthcare industry. It is designed to deliver scoping, design, tender, cost management, and construction management activities, segmented into two lots for Lead Consultant and Cost Consultant services. The procurement's value reaches up to £10 million, and it spans a maximum of four years. This process was completed with contracts signed on 20th May 2025, with the framework supporting projects in acute, primary care, mental health, and healthcare services, indicating a complete procurement stage. The procurement covers regions UKM82, UKM81, UKM83, and UKM8.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for companies within the construction consultancy domain, notably those with expertise in architectural, engineering, and cost consultancy services. The framework seeks to engage both large firms and SMEs, as evidenced by the diverse supplier base awarded contracts, including companies like Ryder Architecture and AtkinsRéalis PPS Limited. Businesses with robust service quality and competitive pricing — attributed 70% and 30% weightage, respectively — are well-positioned to succeed. Organisations capable of quick mobilisation, within two hours to any project site, and those demonstrating high quality in project delivery across varied healthcare environments stand a better chance in such competitive frameworks.
